Rope Access Technician Programme
Rope access lets skilled technicians reach difficult or high-risk areas without scaffolding or cranes, but it demands precise, well-drilled technique. Group 583’s Rope Access Technician programme trains candidates to assemble and maintain personal rope access equipment, tie the knots the discipline depends on, and perform both standard manoeuvres and rescue procedures on a pre-rigged double rope system. This is a 5-day programme, run in Centurion or on-site for groups.
Who this course is for
- Candidates who need to work using rope access methods rather than scaffolding, cranes, or fixed platforms
- Workers who will operate on pre-rigged double rope systems and need to be assessed on both technique and rescue procedure
- Sites that need rope access-qualified personnel in-house rather than outsourcing the work
What you’ll be able to do after this course
